Beautiful Day at Hearst Beach

Paul and I decided to take the day and drive out to Cambria and then to Hearst Beach. It was a beautiful day. There were a few people around, but not too many. It was just so nice to be at the beach and enjoying some beautiful scenery and fresh sea air. The waves were huge! We saw a few spongers attempt to surf, but no one else at that beach.

Thanksgiving Day

It was a beautiful day here for Thanksgiving, so Paul and I took Odus to the beach for a while to enjoy the warm sun and cool water. Odus had a blast, to say the least, as did we! Afterwards we came home and cooked up a thanksgiving dinner for us and Pauls dad. Everything tasted delicious and it was nice to spend time with Pauls dad and just relax. On this day, I was thankful for good family, a warm house and our good food, which dissappeared fast!

My "L" for Lavelle Pedicure

Okay. So I realize this post is a bit dorky, but I decided to get a pedicure this morning with Julie. I wanted to put a L on my toes for Lavelle to celebrate. The people at the pedicure place were a bit confused, but did it anyhow. I think most people want flowers or something different. So I am sharing this beautiful pedicure with everyone!

Getting Married

Paul and I have some pretty exciting news to share with everyone! We officially got married on November 19th at the San Luis Obispo Court House. So you can say we "eloped"! I sure this might be a surprise to a lot of you, but maybe not. We had one witness there, our dear friend Julie. (So thank you again Julie for sharing this special moment with us.) It was a very short and sweet ceremony to say the least. At some point in the future we will throw a big celebration and share this special time in our life with everyone.
So I am now officially Mrs. Trisha Renae Lavelle!!!! Cheers!

More blankets...

The blanket making is going strong. I am done with the few I needed to make, but there are a few more lined up that I am quite excited to get started on.

Blanket Making for all those New Moms!

Given that many friends of mine are pregnant and friends of friends are also expecting, I got attached to the idea of making blankets for all those new mommies out there. I have enjoyed making them so far. And thought I might post of few for all to see.

New Blog

Hello everyone. I am trying to set up a new blog site. The other got a bit confusing to read. I am hoping that this one will be better. It seems that most people do a blog site this way. I guess I am a bit beyond on all this stuff. But thank you to Nicole, for reminding me to set it up!
