Routine

Here is Kades latest routine....this starting a few weeks back.

As I sit down to blog today, I think that yet again, I should be trying to find something else to blog about. Something beyond the baby. I think I feel that those who view this blog, might want to see or read about something else. Maybe its me just feeling guilty that I don't spend time doing much else. But as most stay-at-home moms know, there really isn't much time for anything else..most of the time. Sometimes I do feel as though I have extra time, but then my child decides not to nap, like right now. He is just talking to himself in the crib..Or Kade gets a cold and his requirements are just to be velcroed to me at all times, leaving me with no time to do much...unless I wear him in the Becco..which I gladly do until I feel that just walking around the house, is a complete workout. But I love being a mom. I would doing it all over again..and some day I will. But I would prefer to have a few years of really good sleep before that happens and maybe a bigger house...only time will tell. For now, I will love all my moments with Kade. All of them. And the smiles that I get to see every single day.

You guessed it, another post about the baby.

Just in the last week, Kades crawling has gone from snail like to a quick little rabbit. He also figured out how to pull himself up to a stand, so that has become quite fun for him too. He seems a bit more happy these days, based on his own ability to move. But boy, it takes some energy to keep him safe. He is obsessed with Odus even more these days, and crawls all over the house to be with him.
As for food consumption, he's not too into solids. He could take it or leave it. He eats some here and there. So far prunes are his favorite. Pears are good, carrots so-so, sweet potatoes...thats about it. I am taking it easy on the solids too, cuz this kid has a hard time pooping. Not fun..not fun for all of us.
As for sleeping. He naps in his crib, has for a while. Two naps a day that vary from 30 minutes to 2 hours. At night he sleeps in his crib some...but still makes it back into our bed with us. But we are making progress in the right directions. He's healthy and happy! Which makes for happy parents.

When you have two boys in the house, it means you get two bouquets of flowers.....lucky me.
