Pictures of me

I realized that I have yet to post any pictures of Kade and I. I seem to look so tired in all the pictures I have seen of us, that I figured maybe I would wait until I was more awake..but thats not really happening:) I am loving being a mom....sleep deprived and all. I am as happy as ever and wishing the days would slow down.
But seriously..can I have some toothpicks to keep my eyes open?? I will get some more pictures up soon. Grandma has a lot..

And finally..our little squirt arrived!

Kade Elijah Lavelle was born at 12:18 pm on Sunday the 18th after a long labor and delivery.At 8 lbs 15 oz and 21.25 inches long, he is nothing but all we dreamed of.  He is all to me..such a love and joy. And Paul and I are happy parents. We are loving it all and taking it all in. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. I know that we could not have got through this with out all of them. We are grateful to have such a blessing in our lives:)

Julie and her Beautiful bundle of Cuteness

My dear friend Julie welcomed her baby boy into the world on Monday July 12th. He was a tad bit early, so we were a bit surprised, but non-the-less, excited to meet him. His dear name is Wesley Wallace Newton. A little peanut of a guy. But just as cute as can be. I look forward to having our little ones side-by-side here come soon.

40 weeks

My mom has been here with us for the last week, and we have been having a great time. Finding lots of things to do, as we wait for the little one to arrive. The nursery is all finished, finally, the little odds and ends we needed to do are completed. Finally got a mattress! That took us a while to find the right one. After a few trips to target and to down town, I am feeling the most ready for our little one. To remember the final days of my pregnancy, my mother took some pictures of my, well, quite round and protruding belly.

38 weeks

38 weeks and wondering how many more there will be? Umm....I am getting excited to see our little guy and be able to hold him.
