More Pumpkin Patch

Why yes we did head to another pumpkin patch this weekend. We had to all go together as a family and pick up some pumpkins. Kade was way too excited about all the pumpkins. I do love his simplicity. Just pumpkins can make him so happy. The best.

Dear Fall, please come....

At the beginning of this week, I truly thought I was melting. The weather was so not Fall like. But should I really be complaining? Kade and I spent a lot of time at the pool, just to survive. And boy, that is rough, eh?
But it seems to be cooling down just a bit and Fall is slowly approaching us....the leaves are changing and pumpkins are arriving in all locations. Even slowly making their way to our house. I do love
October and all that it brings. I am kinda in to holidays.

Kade and I got to spend some time at Avila Barn with his parent/preschool class. And he was so excited about all the pumpkins. Too much fun. And to top it off, he got to spend some time with his friend Wee-vi. (Levi) Happy Fall ya all!!

Loving his little pumpkin, so I thought. Right after the picture he chucked it. But we still brought it home in one piece.

I had to. I couldn't resist. I told Paul if the ultrasound said girl, I would be buying a pair of those sparkly pink Tom's shoes. And boy are they cute. This little girl won't be able to wear them for a while, but oh it was fun buying something so pink and sparkly!

And.....oh yes...I think I should blog about this.

I have to say when pregnant with Kade I took a lot of pictures of my growing bump.  And a lot..means a lot. First time....now, second time....I have forgotten to document as much...I guess that has to do with having a 2 year old to love and parent. 

So here is the big news in our house. Baby number 2 will be arriving in early February! We have a big ultra sound this Friday. And boy...what shall it be? A boy or girl this time? Most of my family has their bet on another boy.....we will soon find out. We will be happy with either. Healthy is best.

                                Just been lucky enough to spend time with my favorite boys....This time of year is just beautiful. And the beaches are the best place to be.

Trip to the E.R

Little crazy, sweet Kade made it to 25 months without a trip to the E.R. I have to say, I am a bit surprised he held out that long...not that I would like to find myself there, but the kid is a bit on the wiggle wart side with no fear...at all. And when he falls, he falls hard.

Just home for our trip to Mammoth, Kade hit his eyebrow in the right spot on the old beloved coffee table that we so thought he had figured out was a hazard. We spent a lot of time keep the thing cushioned...but just when we thought he knew not to monkey around the table...it happened.  I mean he is two.

So to the E.R we went..with a busted opened eyebrow. Kade cried for a good 5 minutes...and then he was fine. Seriously kid, you amaze me with your pain tolerance. After a long wait at the E.R...we ended up glueing the eyebrow back in place. ( Given Kades craziness they wanted to put him all the way under for stitches). We opted for the glue and are praying that it heals right and we make it the 4 more days with no water, dirt or anything getting into it! ha!
