Boys

Nothing better than getting to spend a nice morning with all my boys. Yep, I am a bit out numbered, but I love my dear family to pieces.

Wonder

A child's world is fresh and new and beautiful, full of wonder and excitement. It is our misfortune that for most of us that clear-eyed vision, that true instinct for what is beautiful and awe-inspiring, is dimmed and even lost before we reach adulthood. If I had influence with the good fairy who is supposed to preside over the christening of all children I should ask that her gift to each child in the world be a sense of wonder so indestructable that it would last throughout life, as an unfailing antidote against the boredom and disenchantments of later years, the sterile preoccupation with things that are artificial, the alienation from the sources of our strength.  ~Rachel Carson

Cousin Dakotas smallest Fan

Before I start this blog..I have to comment on the blog spot itself. I think I got it up and going. Meaning, I think I got the header to look somewhat normal. That said, the blog for today is for my nephew Kota (Kade's Cousin). Kade is now the youngest of all the cousins on my side of the family...so that would make him Kotas smallest fan as he sports a shirt that advertises Kota's College of choice. Good Luck dude..I hope you get to go fulfill your dreams and become what ever you want to be. Heres to the Berklee College of Music!!

Blog

So I have decided I really can't design a blog well. I have the hardest time with all the simple things. I tried to change the title and add Kade and all...but it is not up to how I would like it to appear. So if you know how to help me change the picture size on the header,  please leave me a helpful tips if you well. So for now, I will call our blog as it is, under construction. And it might be like that for a while.

Gramma and Grandpa visit

My lovely parents came to see us this last week. It was oh-so-nice to have them around. I always enjoy their company and of course the extra help. We had lots of fun, and the highlight of their trip, I would guess, was to get to spend so much time with Kade. who knew?!! But he is pretty special.
Going somewhere....not sure where...

Wearing my old man pants, driving the Grandparents car.....

Nothing better than water bottles to play with.

You should look as scared as I do, cuz some day I will be driving!

Hey..where are we going?

So much stuff!

Nothing better than Gramma...

Nice walk along the beach..especially since Grandpa was pushing.

Getting ready for swim class at Cuesta

During their stay, I tried to take many pictures, but I forgot my camera a few times and then the batteries died.We did get to take a quick trip down to Santa Barbara and meet up with my brother JD and his family. We had a great time there and the weather was beautiful as usual. It went by so fast..in a wink, really. In San Luis, I did some shopping with the parents, lots of lunch and dinners out, nice walks and hikes and I even got to squeeze in a date night with Paul. I don't know where the whole week went...It went by too fast. We will get to see them again in July for a month! Excited for that, for sure!
